Obituary for Margaret Perry

On Wednesday November 1, 2023 at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, aged 87 years.

Marg, the daughter of Robert Russell Strachan Munro (1891-1950) and Janet Jarvis (1898-1962), both of Scotland. Predeceased by her two brothers Bob and Murray.

Marg had a 26 year career as a Correctional Officer at the former Parry Sound Jail.

Marg lived a very full life. She was part of the Foley Fall Fair Board Committee. She participated in many curling bonspiels. She organized several Bingos in the area over the years, which led to many road trips to Bingo halls near and far. Loads of memories were made at Carters Camp and Crane Lake House. Many summers were spent at the cottage on Rankin Lake, paddle boating around Haystead Bay.

Marg enjoyed sitting in the yard watching the deer, squirrels, chipmunks, birds, raccoons, groundhog and the occasional black bear.

Marg leaves behind the love of her life of 50+ years, Phil Brook, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A private Family graveside service to be held at a later date.

"How do you let someone go?"
"How do you understand thats all right that everything changes."
"How do you find a way for that to make you feel good about life, instead of breaking your heart."
"The hardest thing you'll ever learn, is how to say Good Bye."
